Meridian Stars Dance - Class Dress Code

Our Teachers are looking for proper alignment and posture and it is very important that students and parents follow dress code.

Mommy & Me: Parents and children should be in comfortable clothes that they can be in to move around.

Micros: Pink leotard with pink full sole ballet shoes (no slippers please), and pink tights. A short skirt attached or unattached to the leotard may be worn. Keep skirt length mid-thigh and above. Hair pulled off the face and neck.

Jazz/Ballet Combo: Students will need a capezio or bloch jazz shoes, a tight t-shirt or tank with tight capri pants, or booty shorts. Hair must be worm in a pony with long bangs pinned back.

Jazz-Turns & Leaps: Same as Jazz/ Ballet Combo 

Musical Theatre: Same as Jazz/ Ballet Combo

Ballet: Beginning-Intermediate ballet must wear a black leotard, pink tights, and pink full-sole ballet shoes. Advanced ballet classes may wear any color leotard, pink tights, and pink full-sole ballet shoes. A see-through ballet wrap or skirt may be worn, as long as the hips and waist may be seen. Hair must be worm in a pony with long bangs pinned back.

Advanced Contemporary/Lyrical: Students may dance in "Paws" or Barefoot. Garments may range from leotards, tight t-shirts/tanks, tight capri pants, or booty shorts. No sweats or baggy pants are allowed. Hair may be worn down. 

Adult Jazz/Lyrical: same as advanced contemporary/lyrical.

Hip Hop: Baggy, comfortable clothes should be worn with tennis shoes or high-top sneakers.

Rising Stars 1 (Pre-Team): Class outfit is red "STARS" tank top, black booty shorts or black capri pants, tan jazz shoes. Hair must be worm in a pony with long bangs pinned back.

Rising Stars 2 (Pre-Team): same as Rising Stars 1

Showteam: Each member must have a red "STARS" tank top, black booty shorts, or black capri pants, and tan jazz shoes. Only Varsity teams will be allowed to dance in "Paws." Hair must be worm in a pony with long bangs pinned back.

Tumbling: Comfortable clothes for moving around and hair must be tied back. No jewelry.
