At Meridian STARS Dance Studio, we believe in helping children to develop important life skills through a quality dance program. Numerous research studies have shown that children that participate in dance receive higher grades, are more disciplined, have a higher sense of self-respect, self-esteem and self-confidence. They also learn that "a job worth doing, is worth doing well". Activities like dance have also shown to help at-risk students gain the skills and dedication they need to prevent them from dropping out or becoming involved in crime and drugs.
At STARS, we expand upon these skills and take the time to teach goal-setting, teamwork, commitment, community involvement, nutrition and more! Our dance instructors have years of experience and receive on-going training in the latest dance techniques to improve dance skill and injury prevention each year.
We feel that every student should be supported and encouraged and allowed to SHINE!
